Welcome to The West Jamestown Hall of Records! Mrs. McGillicuddy found Lucy's birth certificate at the West Jamestown Hall of Records and, if you're new to the Lucy world, maybe this blog will help you find Jamestown!

The Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, N.Y., has hosted numerous festivals honouring Lucy and Desi. Fans from all over the world come to the twice-yearly festivals to pay tribute to the first couple of comedy, meet celebrities associated with them, have fun, and to make new and catch up with old friends.

It truly is great to be around so many people sharing the same interest, and everyone there comes away with tons of great photos and stories to take home with them. I've made this blog to try to keep a permanent record of all these stories and photos for everyone to share with each other, and with fans who might not have had the "Jamestown Experience." As Lucy Ricardo would say, this blog could give fans a "second hand thrill." ;)

If you're heading to Jamestown this weekend and would like to contribute your stories and photos during and after the festival, please email me at tjmooney@gmail.com. If you email me, I can add you to our list of contributors and you can start posting here right away. When I add your email address to the "contributors" list, you will get a confirmation email in your inbox with a link to activate your account. From there all you need to do is pick out a name and a password and you're off to the races! You can find the simple posting instructions after your account is activated. And, if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to email me.
